Raku Pottery in Chipstead, Kent

In late 2010 I watched some friends making Raku pottery, a process where clay items are glazed, fired, covered with sawdust which catches fire then watered. This leads to very interesting and artistic finishes although the process is fraught with the danger of items breaking at almost any stage.
